Within their Business Systems Solutions (BSS) department, they are dedicated to developing and integrating advanced technology solutions, including AI-driven products, to support growth and sustainability. While internally titled Product Owner, this role aligns more closely with a Product Manager position in the wider market. 

How you’ll spend your day 

  • Identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions, using experimentation and rapid testing to navigate uncertainties. 
  • Collaborating with architects and developers to design the best technical solutions for business needs. 
  • Prioritising user experience by leveraging feedback and performance metrics for continuous product improvement. 
  • Managing the product lifecycle with an agile, fail-fast approach to accelerate learning and enhancements. 
  • Using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimise product performance. 
  • Ensuring products consistently align with user needs and business objectives. 
  • Understanding user challenges and striving to exceed expectations through an experimental and problem-solving mindset. 

What you’ll bring to this role 

Our client is looking for a strong leader who can take ownership of the product vision, drive the roadmap, and align it with business goals and values. More than just collaboration, we need someone who will actively explore AI’s potential, champion its adoption, and identify how it can enhance solutions. This role requires an AI evangelist—someone who not only understands the technology but is passionate about its impact and confident in driving its implementation while maintaining their own unique perspective and leadership style. 

  • Proven experience in developing product visions and roadmaps that align with business goals and user needs. 
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and collaborate effectively across departments. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for both technical and non-technical audiences, up to C-suite level.  
  • Experience in managing diverse stakeholder interests and aligning expectations. 
  • A commitment to enhancing user experience through intuitive design and functionality. 
  • Background in AI product management or a strong foundation in AI principles, with a willingness to learn. 
  • Experience working in innovative and experimental environments, embracing a fail-fast approach for rapid learning. 
  • Strong analytical skills, using data, user feedback, and performance metrics to make informed decisions with a deep understanding of user needs.

The interview process for this client consists of: 

  • Stage 1 – 45minute MS Teams culture focused interview  
  • Stage 2 – 45minute MS Teams competency based interview  
  • Stage 3 – 1.5 hour in person interview with hiring manager and Head of department. Deep dive in to experience aligned to the role requirements.   

Note: Stage 1 and 2 can be combined in to one 90minute interview.
