How you’ll spend your day

• Design, develop and maintain integration solutions using the Boomi iPaaS platform, connecting business-critical systems and enabling seamless data exchange across the organisation.
• Build and optimise automated workflows that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective integration solutions.
• Develop and support APIs and integration services, ensuring reliable communication between enterprise applications and platforms.
• Lead solution testing, deployment and performance optimisation activities to ensure integrations are secure, resilient and scalable.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Build reusable integration components and frameworks that accelerate future development and promote consistency.
• Contribute to integration best practices, governance standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the technology team.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams to support digital transformation projects and enhance user experiences.

What you’ll bring to this role

• Commercial experience developing integrations using the Boomi platform, with a strong understanding of enterprise integration principles.
• Experience designing and supporting REST and SOAP APIs, alongside working with XML, JSON and other data formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.
• Experience integrating cloud-based applications and services within AWS, Azure or Google Cloud environments.
• Scripting experience using technologies such as Python, JavaScript or Groovy.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and working within structured software development and deployment processes.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering robust, reliable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and driving continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience

• Boomi Professional Developer and/or Architect certifications.
• Experience with other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working within regulated sectors such as healthcare, government or financial services.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning or emerging technology integrations.
• Previous mentoring experience or a desire to support the development of other team members.
