Our client is a fast-growing and innovative technology business specialising in the development of high-assurance security solutions. How you’ll spend your day

• Join a highly skilled engineering team developing and testing innovative cyber security products.
• Work on embedded software development aligned to high-integrity, secure coding principles.
• Contribute to design, development, and debugging of embedded systems, both bare-metal and RTOS-based.
• Get involved in real-world engineering challenges, working independently and collaboratively to deliver quality code.
• Take part in problem-solving, code reviews, and continuous learning in a supportive, technically rich environment.
• Travel within the UK, including to other company sites, may be required.

What you’ll bring to this role

• A 2:1 or above degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar STEM subject from a UK university.
• At least 3 years’ coding experience (including academic, home, or project-based work).
• Good understanding of C/C++ and embedded systems, ideally with Raspberry Pi, Arduino or similar.
• Knowledge of low-level programming, memory management, device drivers, and object-oriented programming.
• Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Desirable: experience with scripting (Python, Perl, Bash), Windows development, JTAG/ETM debugging, and familiarity with IP/network security or cryptographic tools.
• Must be eligible to obtain and retain relevant UK security clearance.
