How you’ll spend your day
- Join a highly skilled engineering team developing and testing innovative cyber security products.
- Work on embedded software development aligned to high-integrity, secure coding principles.
- Contribute to design, development, and debugging of embedded systems, both bare-metal and RTOS-based.
- Get involved in real-world engineering challenges, working independently and collaboratively to deliver quality code.
- Take part in problem-solving, code reviews, and continuous learning in a supportive, technically rich environment.
- Travel within the UK, including to other company sites, may be required.
What you’ll bring to this role
- A 2:1 or above degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar STEM subject from a UK university.
- At least 3 years’ coding experience (including academic, home, or project-based work).
- Good understanding of C/C++ and embedded systems, ideally with Raspberry Pi, Arduino or similar.
- Knowledge of low-level programming, memory management, device drivers, and object-oriented programming.
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Desirable: experience with scripting (Python, Perl, Bash), Windows development, JTAG/ETM debugging, and familiarity with IP/network security or cryptographic tools.
- Must be eligible to obtain and retain relevant UK security clearance.
