 About the Client

Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed Tech Bio company aiming to revolutionise regenerative medicine through the power of large-scale AI. They are developing a foundational AI model designed to reshape how human cell types are engineered and managed.

How you’ll spend your day

• Designing and training deep learning models to support novel approaches in drug discovery.
• Writing and optimising production-level code in Python and/or C++ within a Linux-based environment.
• Improving the performance and scalability of existing ML pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborating with computational scientists, data engineers, and domain experts to translate research goals into technical solutions.
• Evaluating and integrating the latest ML frameworks and tools to support evolving project needs.
• Conducting experiments, analysing results, and iterating on model development to ensure robustness and accuracy.
• Documenting and sharing findings with internal teams to help shape future strategy and implementation.

 What you’ll bring to this role

• Proven experience applying AI and machine learning techniques within drug discovery, computational science, or bioinformatics environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++, with solid experience working in Linux or UNIX-based systems.
• Deep knowledge of modern ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• A solid background in developing and refining deep learning models, with a focus on algorithm development and AI optimisation.
• Experience enhancing the performance of machine learning pipelines, including model training, software architecture, and core libraries.
