About the Client
Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed Tech Bio company aiming to revolutionise regenerative medicine through the power of large-scale AI. They are developing a foundational AI model designed to reshape how human cell types are engineered and managed.
How you’ll spend your day
- Building scalable, resilient infrastructure to support cutting-edge AI research and protocol development.
- Creating user-friendly internal tools and visual interfaces that enable scientists and ML teams to work more efficiently.
- Working side-by-side with biologists, machine learning engineers, and platform teams to shape and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Driving greenfield projects from concept to completion—identifying technical needs, designing architecture, and rapidly delivering results.
- Playing a key role in shaping the team’s culture and engineering principles as the organisation grows.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Hands-on experience in backend, infrastructure, or full-stack engineering within a commercial setting.
- Strong proficiency in Python, along with modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, containerisation, and cloud services.
- Background in building scalable APIs, data pipelines, internal tools, or performance-critical systems.
- A history of owning and delivering technically complex projects in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.
- Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
