How you’ll spend your day 

  • Creating concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to showcase user interactions. 
  • Designing UI and UX from initial concept through to final handover to engineering. 
  • Collaborating with the design team to share ideas and solve complex interaction challenges. 
  • Working closely with clients to transform ideas into outstanding user interfaces and experiences. 
  • Communicating effectively with developers to ensure design execution and consistency. 
  • Bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table to enhance user engagement. 
  • Maintaining design consistency across all platforms and touchpoints. 
  • Presenting design concepts and systems to clients with confidence. 
  • Developing digital storyboards and animations to enhance storytelling. 

What you’ll bring to this role 

  • Experience & Expertise: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong background in designing complex e-commerce user interfaces for web and/or mobile applications. 
  • User-Centred Approach: Deep understanding of user-centred design, responsive design, mobile-first principles, and web standards. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in industry-standard design tools, particularly Figma. 
  • Problem-Solving & Strategy: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a thorough understanding of UX processes and methodologies. 
  • Organisation & Efficiency: Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines. 
  • Creative Thinking: A strong instinct for creativity, with a willingness to push boundaries and experiment with new ideas. 
  • Client Engagement: Ability to build relationships, understand client challenges, and confidently present work to key stakeholders. 
  • Strategic Mindset: Comfortable contributing to the strategic aspects of design projects and aligning solutions with business objectives. 
  • Curiosity & Passion: A genuine interest in brands, their impact, and how great design can drive positive change.

The interview process for this client consists of: 

  • Stage 1 – 30-60 minutes initial chat via MS Teams 
  • Stage 2 – Long technical discussion around PHP knowledge, managing/leadership skills & a lot of discussion around architecture
