Salary: up to £100,000-£120,000

How you’ll spend your day 

  • Architect and deliver robust cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead cloud transformation projects from initial strategy through execution, collaborating closely with Cloud Systems Engineers and client stakeholders.
  • Partner directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to shape cloud strategy, translating technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Drive innovation by identifying operational gaps and implementing automation frameworks that reduce manual overhead and increase resilience.
  • Guide and mentor technical teams, ensuring alignment on architectural decisions and best practices across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and DevOps.
  • Contribute to business growth through discovery workshops, technical proposals, and thought leadership, representing the company at industry events.

What you’ll bring to this role 

  • Extensive hands-on cloud engineering and architecture experience, ideally across both greenfield and large-scale migration projects.
  • Deep proficiency in AWS and/or Azure, with strong knowledge of hybrid architectures, cost optimisation, and security frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and multi-stakeholder projects, navigating complex organisational dynamics while delivering at scale.
  • Strong background in infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices, with a track record of turning manual processes into automated, self-healing systems.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills — comfortable influencing technical and executive audiences and leading workshops.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Architect/DevOps Pro) are highly desirable.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach, balancing technical depth with commercial awareness.

  • Stage 1 – 90minute Remote Interview – Whiteboarding and Technical Interview 
  • Stage 2 – 30minute Remote Interview – Cultural Fit
