How you’ll spend your day

As a Senior Azure Platform Engineer / Cloud Consultant, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers on their journey to cloud and DevOps maturity. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll design, implement and optimise cloud-native solutions tailored to complex, real-world environments.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assessing client infrastructure and defining cloud and DevOps strategies aligned to business goals
  • Designing and delivering scalable, resilient and secure Azure-based platforms
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation and infrastructure-as-code to streamline delivery
  • Leading cloud migration, optimisation and transformation initiatives
  • Providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within project teams
  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise initiatives and ensure alignment
  • Contributing to Statements of Work and leading small-to-medium projects through delivery
  • Staying current with cloud, DevOps and platform engineering trends and sharing knowledge internally

What you’ll bring to this role

You’ll be passionate about cloud technology, automation and modern engineering practices, with strong experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong Azure platform engineering experience, including secure and resilient architecture design
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
  • Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
  • Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
  • Proven experience delivering cloud projects in client-facing environments
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • A continuous-learning mindset, with relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications highly desirable
