About the Client
Our client is an innovative educationtechnology company transforming how international students enrol at UK universities. Their flagship platform automates the entire offertoarrival process, covering CAS, visa applications, documentation, accommodation, and communication – empowering universities, agents, and students with seamless, selfservice workflows. Widely adopted in higher education, the system streamlines compliance, enhances conversion, and improves the overall student experience.
How you’ll spend your day
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Manage identity and access platforms (Azure AD, Google Workspace, Okta) and administer networking, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
- Act as the go-to escalation point for IT issues, providing expert support across macOS and Windows environments.
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, and IT asset lifecycle management.
- Lead and contribute to system upgrades, infrastructure projects, and security/compliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, while mentoring junior IT staff.
What you’ll bring to this role
- 5+ years’ experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and networking concepts.
- Cloud infrastructure skills (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with experience in identity platforms (Azure AD, Okta).
- Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with automation/scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash) desirable; ITIL or relevant certification a plus.
