About the Client

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS platform operating in the international education space, supporting universities, students, and partner organisations worldwide. Their technology connects multiple stakeholders into a single, collaborative workflow, helping to simplify complex processes, improve compliance, and deliver a smoother end-to-end user experience.

Trusted by a global customer base, the platform plays a critical role in enabling international study journeys at scale. The business is growing quickly, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement as they evolve their core products.

How you’ll spend your day

As a Quality Assurance Tester, you’ll join an agile scrum team and play a key role in safeguarding the quality and reliability of a core SaaS product. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard and meet both user and business expectations.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Executing thorough manual testing of new features and user stories within sprint cycles
  • Validating acceptance criteria and ensuring functionality aligns with product requirements
  • Performing cross-browser and cross-device testing to maintain a consistent user experience
  • Logging, documenting, and clearly communicating defects, collaborating with engineers to resolve them
  • Contributing to and maintaining automated regression test suites covering critical user journeys
  • Identifying opportunities to improve test coverage through automation
  • Carrying out exploratory, risk-based testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and helping embed quality early in the development lifecycle
  • Acting as a quality advocate, supporting continuous improvement of QA processes as the platform scales

What you’ll bring to this role

You’ll be a detail-oriented QA professional who enjoys digging into complex systems, asking the right questions, and improving products through thoughtful testing.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in software testing / QA, ideally within an agile environment
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing of web-based applications
  • Exposure to automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
  • A natural curiosity and instinct for finding issues before users do
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset suited to a fast-paced SaaS or scale-up environment

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Experience testing SaaS or multi-tenant platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration
  • API testing experience (e.g. Postman)
  • Accessibility testing knowledge
  • JavaScript or TypeScript exposure for test automation

Perks & Benefits:

  • A collaborative, supportive environment where your work directly shapes our brand, voice, and impact.
  • The opportunity to lead a high-energy team working on high-profile industry events, thought leadership, and innovative campaigns.
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus
  • Workplace Pension Plan
  • Group Life Insurance scheme
  • Group Individual Private Healthcare Insurance scheme
  • Annual Flu vaccinations and eye examinations
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Discounted Gift cards via employee Benefits choice
  • Annual equipment/furniture allowance for remote Home-Office working
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the UK’s international higher education landscape
  • Dynamic and supportive remote-first working environment
  • Significant opportunities for progression and professional growth
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and a collaborative, values-led team
